Our Story
A Start-Up Team
For the past two years, we have been working
meticulously to bring the team to where it is today after facing COVID and the
obstacles of creating the team to become an official activity at the school.
In late 2019, Tim Pouring started a robotics club, and initially, it was more of a
hobbyist group, with people dropping in and out. In the following two years, the
group grew, and Tim was succeeded by Reed Graff, a current leader and founder
of TimberX. In 2021, Reed expanded the robotics club and garnered enough interest
to have a small but niched team of builders and programmers to create a robot to
enter the 2021 FTC competition "Freight Frenzy." Due to the club's limited human
resources and budget, however, the robot was never finished(being disqualified at
check-in), and the team could not compete. Nonetheless, the experience would
prepare the group for the following year, where the team was organized and formed
much earlier. Thus, in 2022, Reed created the team with 12 original members
dedicated to the team and the robot.

Our Previous Robots
The Possibilities Are Endless
At TimberX Robotics, we engineer and design high-quality and competitive robots to compete in FTC. Starting from scratch, we design and build up a robot from CAD, custom print parts, and combine them to function with pre-existing parts implementing both unique and original designs to make the best product at our disposal.
